Pushing the limits of blogging… (100th post)
What does October signify: Oktoberfest, Halloween, Diwali or something else?
The month of October had always been a pretty regular one for me all these years – no birthdays or anniversaries to celebrate, no special blog posts to line up. Just like any other month in the month of blogging, this too would just go by. This year, however, saw some of us challenging ourselves, to stretch our limits, to see how far we can go, to take our blogging to another level; and I signed up for it too. I accept the Blogtober challenge. Let’s do this!
Psst … This is my 100th post on this blog. Yes, Lyf&Spice is a century old now! 😉
What is Blogtober?
Blogtober is essentially where bloggers post a new blog post every single day in the month of October. It’s not easy to come up with 30 odd new ideas for the same month, but that’s the point. Let’s do something challenging.
Why take part?
I specifically signed up for Blogtober because it sounded insane. For a minute I thought ‘does this even make sense’, and the next minute I was typing my blog URL on the challenge tab. I took it up to challenge myself, get out of my usual blogging pattern and stretch my writing capacity to the maximum. Until it doesn’t drain you out, it isn’t good enough, right?
What are the rules?
There are no rules to Blogtober other than creating new content every day of the month. This means that people can get as creative as they want with their posts.
Who else is taking part?
Here’s a group of fellow bloggers daring enough to take part in the Blogtober Challenge:

Wish you the best, peeps. Here’s hoping we make the most of this month. Blog appétit! 😉
