I love Matteo Coffea!
This busting cafe that marks the beginning of Church Street, at the junction of Brigade Road, Bangalore, is rather happening and is known for its coffees and beverages.
When to go?
I would rather visit in the morning hours for breakfast or for an evening coffee. It could get really crowded by eve, especially from Fridays to Sundays.
How’s the food?
Their coffees are good. Food is good too, though I always opt for the sandwiches instead of anything else. They go really well with coffee.
What’s on the menu?
The menu offers a number of beverages right from lattes, cappuccinos and chocolate drinks to milk shakes, mochas and fresh juices. Munchies are exactly what you would expect in a coffee shop – burgers, sandwiches, wraps, rolls, salads, pastas, eggs, pastries and other bakery items.
Knock knock!
Must try: Hot cocoa!!!!!!!! Creamy, thick chocolate and perfect texture – it is the best hot chocolate drink I have had in a while.
Cost: Around INR 300-350 per head if you order a beverage and a snack.
Decor: Red and black, and red and black sofa-style/cushioned seating inside; while the exteriors are wooden.
Seating: Indoor and outdoor
Location: Good; in one of the busiest lanes of Bangalore
Overall rating: 4/5
Parking: Best of luck in looking for parking over weekends, but you have options – Church Street, Brigade road and lots of lanes 😉
That’s all folks!!
