I love Fat Buddha!
Looking for some delish pan-Asian cuisine in Bangalore? Head to this lovely restaurant nestled in a space of greenery and good vibes, at Vasant Nagar, Bangalore, en route to Cunningham Road.
When to go?
If you are planning a luncheon, make sure you have a reservation or simply reach early, as it gets packed with office-goers from the neighbouring corporate firms. Enjoy an al fresco lunch between 12-3 pm or a relaxed supper between 7-11 pm.

How’s the food?
Fat Buddha offers Asian delights like Malaysian, Chinese, Japanese and Thai. The food is quite tasty and special requests such as ‘make it less spicy please’ are catered to. Rest assured, you will have no complaints about the food and are sure to have a satisfying gourmet experience.

What’s on the menu?
The restaurant offers an extensive menu ranging from salads, satays, wontons, barbeque and rice preparations to Malaysian delights like murtabak, nasi goreng and prawns. Pick noodles of your choice – Singapore, Chopsuey, Kwai-Tu, Hakka, Pan fried etc. and team them up with sauces as per taste. Check out their mock-tails with interesting names – Bodhi Berry, Citrus Zen, Rising Sun and more.
Knock knock!
Must try: Chicken in oyster sauce, spring rolls.

Cost: The dishes are decently priced. A meal could cost anywhere between INR 400-500 per head.
Service: Average
Decor: The interiors have vibrant hues, with purple and yellow cushions for some colour pop. Bask in the vibrant colours of the interiors or carry your sunglasses to dine outdoors, closer to nature.
Seating: Indoor and outdoor
Location: I would say good; especially for office-goers in and around Cunningham road and Vasant Nagar, and Carmelites of course! 😉
Overall rating: 3.5/5
Parking: Yes, the watchman is patient enough to guide you to a good parking slot within the compound.
That’s all folks!!
